214 Newsworthy
As the entire world seems to be mourning Michael's death - news of the 35+ soldiers killed serving their country in the line of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan THIS MONTH ALONE hardly rates a front page in the news or raises concerns around office water coolers. Not to mention the hundreds more civillians killed by suicide bombings. What a pretentious and superficial world we live in... Ask yourself what really should be of more importance?

213 Embassy
Went into London to sort out the marriage certificate today. Had to visit the Australian Embassy to have our signatures witnessed before sending it back home. Besides costing £10 a signature, it was a breeze compared to visiting any of the UK Offices we've had dealings with. So efficient we had enough time to chill in Camden Markets for the afternoon. All in all a very successful day out and off work! :)
Off to Croydon tomorrow for more visa issues...

211 Six Months!
Today is a significant day for me. It marks six months of meat-free living! It all started with these two photos about battery hens:
...and then Bea Elliott stumbled across my blog and we began to chat and she introduced me to what I already knew, but in a lot more depth. What followed was a week long trial of cooking vegetarian dinners to see what delightful (and not so delightful) meals I could muster up in the kitchen. I've learnt a lot about vegetarian cooking since then and my skills in the kitchen have certainly improved. This was probably my favorite from that initial week, veggie lasagne:
This week of experimentation turned into a complete overhaul of my diet! I must admit that while there were times I seriously craved a piece of beef jerky (I loved that stuff) or a big bacon and egg breakfast, I have on the whole not missed meat at all.
It really made my day!!!!!!!!! :) Altough I'd often thought about giving up meat before hand I never thought I'd ever actually be able to do it! I view it as quite an achievement for me and honestly haven't felt this healthy and illness-free in a long time! Cheers!

I guess you could say she gave me the much needed nudge to do what I had often contemplated but lacked the information to realise. I could not have achieved this without you. Also another massive thanks for posting this amazing story and image on your blog for me:

210 New Look
You may have noticed it looks a little different around here! I've toyed around with some settings and tried to make the layout more professional. Plus check out my trendy new banner up the top! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment (click the thing about random insults just below this).
Oh and I am going to continue numbering each post, so eventually I will get to that magic three hundred and sixty five mark ... and beyond!

209 Change of plans
Over the past week I've made a big decision. I've decided to bring my 365 to a close... But don't worry I am NOT STOPPING blogging, I'm just not going to try to post every day like before. The main reason is that although I was happy with most of my photos, I wasn't happy posting a few sub-par photos just to get one up here every single day.
I am still going to keep blogging here about what is going on and of course all my random thoughts similar to my old klemsworld website. Just don't expect one every day, but as if you did anyway by now, haha!.
Thanks for your support and comments over my 208 days of 365ing! It was quite an achievement and I hope you enjoyed it. I was pretty stoked to get past 50, then 100 and then 200! I've learnt a lot about photography and editing and also about myself. I've also "met" a lot of amazing people, most notably Bea Elliott who has helped me totally change a part of my life!
Keep checking back as I will keep posting, probably moreso now that the pressure of daily photos is off!
Thanks again! :)

208/365 Balls of fun...
Yes I am well aware that I haven't posted here in a week but it's because I have been busy working on this:

206/365 Camden
I even managed to pop into Oddballs juggling shop where the guy showed me how to juggle with clubs. Just like normal juggling there's a simple knack to it, but I'll stick with three balls for now...

205/365 Raw
Quick juggling video for you all, three tricks from the bag of tricks I now possess. :) It's unedited raw footage because I don't have any software that can process HD video files yet... I'll throw up a proper video with more tricks and a cleaner edit once I get round to filming it all properly.
